Meld: A Centralized Learning Hub for the Creative Community
In response to the rapid evolution of design tools and fragmented sources of learning, I created Meld, an e-learning platform that merges knowledge for designers and creatives into one centralized space. Unlike other learning platforms, Meld is exclusively tailored for the creative community, featuring organized courses in digestible modules, progress tracking, and a vibrant community aspect that encourages knowledge sharing.
The visual identity for Meld is crafted to be approachable and engaging, with a soft serif display typeface creating a friendly tone for learning, and vibrant gradients adding a soothing yet dynamic energy. Bold colors and sketchy line accents give the platform a creative feel, making the learning experience enjoyable for the creative community.
Process for creating the website
To create the user experience for Meld, I began by developing a site map to establish a clear and intuitive structure for navigation. Next, I translated the site map into wireframes using Figma, focusing on usability and layout hierarchy. With this foundation in place, I applied the brand's style guide to create the high-fidelity prototype. The final design balances functionality with an engaging aesthetic, making learning both accessible and inspiring for the creative community.
